Refund and Returns Policy

At De Tech Rules Ltd, customer satisfaction is our priority. We understand that sometimes products may not meet your expectations, which is why we have a clear and fair returns and refunds policy.

1. Return Window

You have 28 days from the date of delivery to return an item if you change your mind.

The 28-day return period begins on the day you receive your order.

Items must be returned unused, in original condition, and in the original packaging with all tags and labels intact.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

– The product must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
– The item must be in its original packaging.
– All accessories, manuals, and parts must be included.
– Products must be clean and free from mud, dirt, or heavy wear.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Due to hygiene, safety, or product integrity reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

– Gardening gloves or personal protective equipment that have been opened or used.
– Heavily used or dirty gardening tools (mud, excessive wear, rust, or damage).
– Items that have been modified, damaged, or misused by the customer.
– Products with missing parts or accessories.

If a product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, it may still be returned regardless of condition. See Section 8 for details.

4. Change of Mind Returns

If you have simply changed your mind about a purchase and the item meets the return conditions above, you may return it within 28 days.

Return postage for change of mind returns is the responsibility of the customer.

We recommend using a tracked delivery service to ensure the item reaches us safely.

5. How to Initiate a Return

If you wish to return an item, please follow these steps:

Step 2: Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

Step 3: We will provide you with return instructions and confirm your return request.

Step 4: Pack the item securely in its original packaging and send it to:

6. Return Postage Costs

Change of mind returns: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: We will cover the cost of return postage. We will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse you for postage costs once we receive proof of postage.

7. Refund Processing Time

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the return conditions.

If your return is approved, we will process your refund within 5–10 working days.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

Please allow an additional 3–5 working days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.

8. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately:

We will arrange for a replacement to be sent or issue a full refund, including original shipping costs.

You must notify us of any faults or damage within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs of the item and packaging.

9. Refund Amount

For approved returns, we will refund the full purchase price of the item(s) returned.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item was faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

If you received free shipping on your order, no shipping deduction will apply.

10. Partial Refunds or No Refund

In some cases, only a partial refund or no refund may be issued:

– If the item is not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts not due to our error.
– If the item is returned more than 28 days after delivery (unless faulty).
– If the item shows signs of heavy use, dirt, mud, or wear that goes beyond normal inspection.

11. Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct product exchanges.

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, colour, or model, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the replacement product.

12. Cancellations

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched.

Once your order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. In this case, you may return the item using our standard returns process (see above).

13. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe:

Step 1: Check your bank account or credit card statement carefully.
Step 2: Contact your bank or card provider, as processing times may vary.
Step 3: If you still have not received your refund after taking these steps, please contact us at info@detechtrade.com and we will investigate the issue.
